Blood stains on the door jambs and walls were at a height consistent with David’s elbow/arm brushing against them (which is the part of the body most likely to bump into things).

Some of the clothes from the washing machine were displayed in Court on boards along with the clothes Robin was wearing that day. There was a significant difference in the size of the two sets of clothes – definitely for two different people. Those taken from the washing machine would have fitted the much taller David, the track pants trouser length and the arm length of the green jersey were inches longer than those worn by Robin.  The only other clothes in the washing were some black jeans – again David’s, white sports socks such as the ones David was wearing, T-shirts etc, items that belonged to David.
