The two books Bain and Beyond and David and Goliath were each good sellers, thanks to promotion by Paul Holmes on his show and each probably sold in the vicinity of 30,000 copies, which makes 60,000 all up.  While no one can know for sure what income Karam can derive from that, this is the amount he would earn at $3.33 a book.
