David Bain Appeals Decision to Disallow Documents

David Bain is appealing, through his lawyers, for access to the documents previously disallowed by Justice Keane.  The Appeal will be lodged in a number of weeks, further postponing the judicial review process and any consequent decision on compensation.

Yet another delaying tactic.  Makes me wonder if the Bain team plan to drag this out all the way until the November 2014 election.

Perhaps they believe a change of government and a new Justice Minister will improve their chances of compensation.

But what if you win your case against him?? Where will he go from there as it will show to the whole of NZ, plus those who have decided (after your show of strength) to shove back, that Karam is talking through a hole in his #############

I think they are making a mockery of the Justice system. All these actions are becoming tedious, frivolous and vexatious. It is time for a Judge to say so.

Judith Collins has given the judiciary a rark-up and told them to stop taking so long with deciding cases. Won't it be delicious irony if Bain/Karam's case is now thrown out due to the new expediency mandate?
