The truth magazine is running a headline about alleged lies that David Bain told about the spectacles in the original trial in 1995.
Update: The truth article was prompted by release of a letter that Michael Guest, Bain's former defence lawyer sent to the Minister of Justice in which he reveals how Bain was all set to declare that he wore the glasses on the weekend of the murders, and then at the last minute retracted. Michael Guest disputes Binnie's findings and does not think that Bain can be found factually innocent. The Herald is now reporting this news as well.
If Karam is thinking about making a movie about the Bain case he won't be able to use the title Liar Liar because it would be breaching copyright, plus I don't think Jim Carrey would want to play the part of David Bain.
I thought he was going to call the movie How to Commit Murder and Get Away With It.
