Karam thinks that it is possible for the washing machine to have completed its cycle

Despite the repeated tests of technicians, explanations regarding water pressure and pipe corrosion and David Bain's own testimony, Karam maintains that it was possible for the washing machine cycle to have finished in time from when David Bain was supposed to have started it (according the Karam's scenario), sometime after 6.45 and when the police arrived not long before 7.30.  For more detail go here.

Karam stated emphatically that a human bladder contains up to 4 litres of urine

In the Karam Laws debate held in August 2010, Joe Karam emphatically states that the human bladder when full contains 3-4 litres of fluid.  He says this to support his opinion that 400ml of fluid in the bladder is so small as to be unnoticeable.  Medical journals suggest that anything from 200 to 400ml is sufficient for a person to start to be ready to relieve themself.  More about this here including audio of the incident.

Karam said Davids mothers glasses of no use to David.

On page 114 in Joe Karam's book David and Goliath there is this misinformation! [Quote] David was prematurely arrested, imagine the difference in police positioning had they already known on the Friday morning that these glasses were previously David's mothers and "OF NO USE TO HIM"    [end quote]

This is completely contrary to what David himself admitted' he said that he used the old pair of his Mother’s glasses when his were not available for going to lectures and watching TV.

Karam Claimed that Laniet was going to tell all at the weekend but the Murders happened on the Monday

Karam's claim that Robin Bain killed his family (barring David) because Laniet was going to reveal all about their supposed relationship at the weekend has one major flaw: The murders occurred on Monday morning.  If Laniet was going to reveal all at the weekend, then surely she would do this on Saturday or Sunday and the matter would not be still dealt with by the Monday morning.  As we already know, David Bain at no stage testified that he believed that his father had an incestuous relationship with Laniet or even suggested that it was possible.

Karam Thought that Blood on Robin Bain's Clothing would Prove to belong to Family Members

In Joe Karam's Book David and Goliath on page 203 Karam says: "I have no doubt that if the blood staining on Robin's clothing had been analysed for blood grouping, it would have been found to be the blood of deceased members of his family."

After Karam made these claims in his book, the blood on Robin Bains clothes was tested, the results below.

Forensic scientist Dr Sally-Ann Harbison said of the more than 20 samples taken from Robin Bain's bloodstained clothing the only full results were of his own DNA.
